Prelude to Fëanturi began in 1999. Pierre and friends having played together for many years in different projects (punk, metal…) decided to form a metal band. This project went on during two years with several changes in musicians and styles... In 2002, Fëanturi was born however but Pierre was alone. During the summer, he recorded the first demo "Acute Silence". Reviews were really positive about it but no interesting production offer came. During summer 2004, Fëanturi re-form with Jerome and Raph at guitar, Tama at drums and Pierre at bass and vocals. Then Fëanturi reissued "Acute Silence" with a bonus track: "Sword of Conscience remix"; this is the beginning of Fëanturi peculiar style, mixing metal songs, acoustic and electronic ambiances. In November 2004, Fëanturi made his first show at "la trash académie" in front of 300 persons, and gave very goods impressions. Spring 2005, Tama and Jerome decided to leave Fëanturi. Then Pierre went back to drums. From December 2005 to July 2006, Pierre and Raph recorded and mixed at home the album "Grey design". In April 2006 Fred (Guitar), Alexis (Bass) and Bruno (Voices) joined the band for live sessions. Currently Fëanturi is promoting the new album and searching for producer and distributor... Shows are planned in fall and winter...
